Aligarh Divisional Commissioner Navdeep Rinwa self under construction. Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University was inspected on Thursday. The Divisional Commissioner said that on the basis of the new contract only about three months are left for the completion of the construction work. The work should be expedited by increasing the number of manpower, technology and machines. He expressed strong displeasure over the financial progress of 54.24 per cent and physical progress of 73.33 per cent so far at 62.55 per cent. Said that there is no progress even after there is no problem of funds and payment, it is not right. The administration is serious about conducting the session.
The number of laborers should be increased, otherwise they will not hesitate to file an FIR. He gave necessary instructions regarding the installation of line and transformer for power supply after talking to the electrical officials on the phone. Instructed to send a letter to the government for approval of the university’s facade. The State University of Aligarh is to be built on EPC mode in an area of 100.351 acres. Rs 87.96 crore has been released against Rs 101.41 crore. Due to which construction is going on in 22.34 acres. Third party inspection is being conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia University at regular intervals to check the quality of construction work. Apart from this, the quality check is done by a high level technical committee constituted under the chairmanship of the head of civil engineering department of HBTU. It is also being monitored by the District Magistrate.
